Cancellation Policy

When an appointment has been made for you at Glasgow Footcare, that time slot is reserved for you. If you cannot attend your appointment and have not contacted us to cancel within the required notice period, the appointment cannot be offered to another patient. In common with other medical clinics, we therefore operate a strict cancellation policy. You will normally receive a text, email or phone reminder of your appointment date/time, however, this is a courtesy service and should not be relied upon. Please ensure that we have the most up-todate contact details for you at time of booking. Patients are responsible for ensuring appointments are kept or cancelling with more than 24 hours’ notice.

This can be made when booking online or via SMS/email link which will be sent to you if you book by phone. For any subsequent appointments you will simply pay on the day, following treatment. Cancellation with more than 24 hours’ notice given - No Charge Cancellation within 24 hours of appointment - 50% of treatment fee will be charged. Cancellation or non-attendance on day of appointment - 100% of treatment fee will be charged. Late arrival for appointment - we will endeavour to treat you in the time remaining, but the full treatment fee will still be payable. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you may be refused treatment, and the full treatment fee will still be payable. If you have not paid in advance for your appointment, any outstanding cancellation fees will be charged at your next visit.
